Time to start this year's thread of odds and sods (Last year's Odds & Sods HERE)
Today a large flock of 40 or so Redwings descended on the fields around our local parkland and although they were pretty skittish and distant I hard cropped a few pics for you ....
and a blue tit landed nearby !

I know what you mean Gaynor, tiny slugs cost us hundreds of pounds over 9 years at the last house when they kept finding their way into the automated gate system needing to replace the control panel at least 3 times ! Costly little blighters even though we protected the control box with a special weather proof sealant - they still managed to find a gap somewhere but no matter what they did we refused to use slug pellets or pesticides. These slugs were miniscule so always found their way in to slime up the microchip !!
