Time to start this year's thread of odds and sods (Last year's Odds & Sods HERE)
Today a large flock of 40 or so Redwings descended on the fields around our local parkland and although they were pretty skittish and distant I hard cropped a few pics for you ....
and a blue tit landed nearby !

I thought he would. We get Rooks, Jackdaws and the odd Carrion Crow. You can actually see them thinking about things.!!
They do like a bigger item of food though .... soaked brown bread, peanuts, suet pellets etc. We put pastry in log feeders and the Rooks use their feet to pull the feeders up to get to the pastry. :-)

Looks pretty safe. I'll maybe stop wearing my water wings next time I'm up there.!! :-)
Best wishes

Hodge-podge of birds on trailcam ... good to see Crow again, also the injured Magpie who was a fairly constant visitor last year
Lot to learn

The other side. :-)
That reminds me of the Ice Road Trucker program, where they drive over floating roads of thick ice across rivers and lakes!
