Today a large flock of 40 or so Redwings descended on the fields around our local parkland and although they were pretty skittish and distant I hard cropped a few pics for you ....
and a blue tit landed nearby !

This brightened up the day for me ...
By far and away, the best view I've had of one these for a good while
It wasn't in a place I have ever seen one before (although they are around locally) so I was lucky that a) it went off when I was passing and b) it was easy to spot

Local moorland red today. Not been up to see them for quite a few months but had a walk up there today from the edge of town.
I bet that was better than a breath of fresh air Bob.
