Ringed Siskin

Some of yous will know from In My Garden thread I had a wee visit from a Siskin yesterday which was lovely but me being me 1 wasnt enough and I wished for more ..greedy I know

So today 4 turned up and it was only when I have been looking at the pics tonight I have noticed one of them is Ringed..never had a Ringed bird in the garden before!

Lovely visitors to get in your garden Linda, I get the odd one or two some winters and always a pleasure to see, the colours are beautiful.

They sure are Alan. Had one or two of them in the garden in the summer but only pit stop. They were back today again so lovely to see.

Do you know of reserves or other places near you that carry out ringing?

Beautiful Siskins Linda, there you are, you have your birthday surprise!!! I have only seen one or maybe two feeding together, fabulous to get the four together.
