Was dry for most of the day but I found myself watching the forever changing sky rather than the birds for a change!
So here are a few or several pics from today
Sunrise
RRB claiming the garden
Then had a bath
Greenies hogging the feeders
Dunnock has just seen the sky...not happy
Then within the next 30 mins it was forever changing
And a Rainbow to lighten the mood aww
It was raining a little but I enjoyed out in the drizzle admiring the lovely sky
Then sunset
Even the moon was shining bright
Just another day stuck at home but admiring the surroundings and trying to keep sane
Hope my rainbow has brightened your day.

Lot to learn
Love your pics of what looks like the late afternoon light on the trees, Linda--called the golden hour by the man who runs one of my favourite Osprey sites, an apt description. Lovely bird pics, too. Relevant to your Crow gathering, a poster on a non-RSPB chat site today says, "Local & not so local Carrion Crows had one of their socials near me this morning......counted 42, lined up on a railing on top of a modern tower block...with a few more in the air. They seem, to meet up at least every few weeks outside the breeding season.... no doubt I miss a lot of their meets." Apologies to him and his friends if I ought to have credited him specifically--didn't know if I should have or not--sorry.
Kind regards, Ann
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
