Weather much better than forecast and even got a blue sky into the bargain so camera had to come out of moth balls again ! We have a pair of Swallows which perch on the overhead cable by the courtyard (just over a week ago the pair landed in the courtyard only I didn't have time to grab the camera before they were off again) so here's todays piccies …….
Watching the camera ............ he/she put on a display with some stretching exercises .................
S-T-R-E-T-C-H ………...
Ok.... she's still got the camera clicking so I'll do a few extra exercises ! ………...
Now for a good preen …………… !
This one could have been so good and nearly ended up on bad pics instead but I liked the angle the bird was coming at …. almost had to duck !
what a pity I didn't get this right but they are so quick and you never know when they are suddenly going to take off !
BYEEE !! .………………….

Tony T said:they only perch on the wire down the hill
Well, Tony, I suggest you just meander on down that hill, to that wire, with your camera, and you jolly well don't come back until you have a decent selection of shots
Lovely shots as always Hazel

Lovely photos Hazel.
I'm missing my annual dose of swallows, the nearest place being a local Nat Trust, which is CoVID19 closed, so it's good to see your and others.
