I usually start this thread by cheating and having a pic of a baby Feral Pigeon that I have rescued. Not this year. Today, the first of the Little, Little HTR's arrived in the garden, right on schedule. It is currently in the flowering currant. Little HTR has been taking dozens of waxies to the nest and this morning I noticed him going via the flowering currant. I just had a little look and saw a fledgling in there.

Lot to learn
New baby arrived in the courtyard this morning and I think I now know where all the live mealworms and waxworms were going LOL
maybe fresh out of the nest following one of the adults to the courtyard as there is still a feather on its foot !

With at least 3 pairs of Blackbirds around the garden this is just one of the recent juvenile
.
Nice one Tony, good to see more young blackbirds as I think they've had a pretty tough time sourcing food during the recent dry weather and rock hard ground.
Another newbie spotted today although it is pretty gloomy here, hence record shot of a young Goldfinch …..
and begging off parent ! Pity the sky was so dark and gloomy.
Wish this site would get sorted, it's not worth posting at the moment with pages taking 2 mins to load :(
