As well as all the Snipe at Lackford there were lots of Little Grebes about on all the different lakes and waterways.
This one just in front of the hide where the Snipe were showing at being.. well snipe.
It dived and came up with a fish supper
Then it was gone
On another lake a whole load more Grebes with the weather getting windier and rain starting
I'm getting out of the rain..
It really started to "chuck it down" and I was a mile from the dry reception building and a hot drink
The rain stopped and a few more pics and off back to the car

I love the way little grebes like to hold on to there catch giving time to get a decent pic, before devouring...
