Hi All, I took an executive decision & decided to amalgamate the Butterfly & Moth threads which may make it easier to find if it's used more!
These are the old threads from 2019 Beautiful butterflies https://community.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/f/all-creatures/200195/beautiful-butterflies-2019#pifragment-4285=1
& Mostly Moths https://community.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/f/all-creatures/198118/mostly-moths-2019/1273216#pifragment-4285=1
To start us off here are a few from the recent traps & wine rope,

Hi Russ,
It's actually a little gadget that plugs into the mobile device. It's simple to use. NHBS do offers on them. I had intended to be able to take it away with me when I was going on holiday but instead I will hone my skills in my own garden

Speckled Woods are starting to emerge in the garden. The Quince japonica is a favourite perch
What I thought was a small white fluttering by outside the window turned out to be....
A Holly Blue, it's years since I have seen one
Seemed to like the Berberis - happy days
Lot to learn
