Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

James G said: I should have been in Cornwall by now but still stuck in sunny Rochdale :(
and with tighter restrictions sadly; we're lucky we are just outside of the added restrictions but my relatives in G. Manchester (Trafford) are on same lockdown as you. Good job I visited my Aunt on Thursday as the restrictions came in less than 12 hours later without much notice so we couldn't have even sat in her garden at social distance as we normally do ! Hope you can make plans soon Jim but it looks like we are in this for the long term :(

This Thrush seems to have taken up residence in our garden now, not sure if its taking beak fulls of seed away to feed juvs or just to eat itself in cover.
Checking out the situation on its way back to the feeder.
