Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

As I have just suggested to Linda ... bet your new garden could support a hoggie or two PB, why not apply to a rescue centre? That'd be one 'nark' sorted .... sorry can't help with GSW, I don't have those here either! Boohoo!

Although there is a good assortment of warblers in the local park, I've been struggling to catch any on camera, even the Whitethroats and Sedgies are singing from the depths of tangled brambles instead of vantage points. However, finally got a Whitethroat.
