Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

I didn't want to burden you any more than necessary
But any idea to pass the time of day, can't be all that bad, can it?

All three squirrel photo-works are great , Mike. As a comic fan I like the last one best. The second one (like chrome on a black background) is fabulous, too.
So today I managed 3 ...its a working progress!

I think I have more shots of Wheatears this year than the last three put together. Not that I'm complaining: lovely birds and even very artistic. This one even knows the importance of framing the subject, but was very disappointed and demanded to know why I hadn't arrived early enough to get it before the shadow fell across it. Very temperamental these arty types.

Thanks and ooh, a Wheateater is a lovely name, but just to make sure the bird is a WheatEAR
I tried for Warblers in the park today and couldn't get a one! Whitethroats, Chiffchaffs, Reed Warblers, even Sedge warblers: no photographic sense between the lot of 'em. At least a Meadow Pipit prevented a total wipeout.
