Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

I was having a play around with photoshop while watching the garden yesterday.
Oh, and I forgot this one....
Stay safe everyone and have a good day

I wish you luck getting all five squirrels in one pic. If they're all in the garden at the same time, you'll probably need to set the camera lens to as wide an angle as possible, sit (not stand, your legs could end up aching), copious quantity of coffee on a drip feed for a long period, camera poised to get the best position over the garden, with you finger glued to the shutter! LOL
Oh, and no falling asleep!
Can you spot it? This is about as good a sighting I had from this iconic Spring bird today.
Actually, it did fly closer but it was never anything more than a silhouette. Fortunately, it was singing which is how I found it in the first place. Although I've heard a few in the last couple of years, this is the first time I've actually seen a Cuckoo for a while. Shortly after this, it absolutely chucked it down and I got soaked on my way home! I still saw my first Swift of the year, in the rain though. I may see if the Cuckoo is still there tomorrow, although they tend to be just passing through. Incidentally, I saw in the news this morning a tagged Cuckoo flew back to Suffolk from Africa in record time.
