Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

Lot to learn
Some photos from today's walk (no giraffe's though I'm afraid!):
Blue tit:
Blurry Chiffchaff - record shot after 15 minutes gazing into the treetops!
Goldfinch stopped me as I walked back home:
Then a Red Kite flew over just as I got to the front door - super over-exposed to make out the details!
Thanks for taking a look and being such a lovely welcoming bunch!
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Contrail, just the one when normally there can be quite a few in the mornings, a sight these days!
The lesser spotted airplane, which normally fly overhead inbound to Birmingham. Nice to see they're practising the social distancing!

I thought I'd leave the tadpoles alone and pick on the Ramshorn snails in the pond.
This House Sparrow has captured the nesting box outside my livingroom window. Since a few weeks now he`s annoucing loudly for everyone to hear, that he claims it. Don´t know , if he´s already got a lady, but I think so.
The box was standing on my balcony before and another one is still hanging by the wall of the balcony. But that was too near, every year only one was occupied , mostly by Great tits, once or twice by Blue Tits. House Sparrows I`ve never had before, so far, though we really have many in the neighbourhood, and in Berlin, generally spoken.
A couple of the fish in the pond, after a good feeding session...
First two Blackbird fledglings in garden today with Dad feeding ... only got wafty pics of one of them (had to lean over sink & contort through open window!)
Male BB comes to raid Hoggie food every morning several times over to take food back to his babies ... a short snippet taken from my trailcam
Have put some raisins into soak for them now!
Breaking news!!!!!! Just seen Robin go into the nestbox which has been hanging up for several years unused up til now ... did notice a lot of stuff packed into it last week! Tried for pic through window but he flew away!
