Happy New Year all
I know you’ve enjoyed sharing your sunrise and sunset photos, and a good many have enjoyed seeing the photos and experiences posted, so here is this year’s thread.
First, thank you to all who have shared their photos for 2019, not just in the UK, but from other countries also, I’m sure you’ll agree, they have all been fabulous.
Last year’s thread is here:

To save Hazy the pressure of missing a sunrise, here is the first of my contributions for 2020.
Can you see the sun?
It is there, honest!

Its at that time of year, where sunsets here are obscured by the surrounding houses, so here's a couple form last night.
Even the moon was getting in on the act!
A nice sunrise Tuesday 7th April
And quite by surprise, we were treated to a colourful sunset the same day.
Both photos were take within seconds of each, and the colour changes were amazing!
Last nights sunset...
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
A rather colourful urban sunrise yesterday morning, almost like giant lips in the sky!
Doh!
Just noticed I'd put two similar photos up.
This should have been the second one, a proper urban sunrise....
Night all, stay safe
The time of year and position of the sun doesn't make for a clear view of sunrises and sunsets here, however, there are times when the sky or local surroundings will give some impressive colours.
Urban sunrise...
And the sunset....
From this evenings sunset...
Sunrise reflecting a pink glow on the clouds in the southern sky....
A nice orange glow on the trees from the sunrise yesterday, Wed 6th May
Though I can't see the setting sun at the current time, due to the suns position in the sky and time of year, we do get some colourful cloud scenes.
This is the best I'll get of a sunset most nights for now
