Happy New Year all
I know you’ve enjoyed sharing your sunrise and sunset photos, and a good many have enjoyed seeing the photos and experiences posted, so here is this year’s thread.
First, thank you to all who have shared their photos for 2019, not just in the UK, but from other countries also, I’m sure you’ll agree, they have all been fabulous.

To save Hazy the pressure of missing a sunrise, here is the first of my contributions for 2020.
Can you see the sun?
It is there, honest!

Yesterday's sunrise catching the clouds
The sun is almost getting up before me in the mornings!
Still, in around 5-6 weeks, it'll start getting up later and going to bed earlier, but for now, some from yesterday morning, where because of the sun's position in the sky, I can only get its reflection on the surrounding trees.
Even the moon was in on the act, just peeking over the garage roof...
I know in another post, I said the weather had been dull etc, this was the only bit of sun yesterday, the cloud soon came over....
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Another colourful urban sunrise with some mackerel clouds, which can be seen in the top third of the images.
"Mackerel sky – never long be wet, never long be dry"
Incidentally, we did have some short, and very light overnight showers the following night.....
Great colours
Never even heard of a Mackerel sky. Why would fish would flying up there?

A nice sunrise to start the month of June with....
It won't be long before the sun rises before me, but, before the weather turned, I managed to grab this urban sunrise.
A different view for this one
And the normal views for these two,
Last nights lovely sunset about 10pm. Taken on my phone so not the best quality but couldnt resist.
