Not a great photo but it was a nice surprise to see what I think is a male Emperor dragonfly on our local walk today; it was virtually at ground level behind a few grasses so couldn't get a decent pic of it before it flew off again.

Sadly not seen many this year but got a few pictures of some Demoiselles yesterday while visiting Cotehele Cornwall.
