Dragons are getting more frequent now, at least when the sun is out. This Black-tailed Skimmer was more obliging than usual.
It even let me close enough to get a more detailed shot with a macro lens
I was hoping to catch this …. a Blue-tailed Damsel with prey
Too busy stuffing its face to worry about how close any random photographer was getting

Some absolutely brilliant photos folks.
It's been a while since I've seen any to share, but a recent visit to RSPB Conwy did change that, a pair of damsels mating.

The damsels were challenging, because blades of grass kept attracting the autofocus, but I persevered.

I had the same problem this morning Mike...but I didn't persevere lol.
Could do with an ID though please...loads flying out of the grass.
