Bathing the Jay & Song Thrush way

Two lovely visitors to the waterfall area;   first one of the Song Thrushes and then one of the Jays ..........

(all photos taken through window at distance)

dunk   ! ....................

and the Jay takes the award for bad hair day  !

and someone else was making use of the water ............ having a drink after consuming all the loose bird seed/kibbles

    That Jay is just a fan of the 50's and is wearing its hair accordingly. Is that a bouffant? No idea what they are called!
    The Song Thrush looks very rotund, too, when its all fluffed up.

    Lovely pics of the Thrush having a dip Hazy, gorgeous bird. Punk haired Jay is very alluring, I remember a girl at school had just such a hair-do!!! :-)

    @ Nige..... yes bouffant with added hair gel  -   Nothing does hair styling quite like a wet Jay   !

    @ Gaynor...   "I remember a girl at school had just such a hair-do!!! :-)  "    and I seem to remember a teacher with it too,  she was referred to by the name Batty Bishop !!
