Two New Year Wishes ... firstly that Mr K visits tomorrow to start our year off right!
... secondly that a beautiful female appears to sweep Mr K off his feet & into that nest hole!

Mr K decided to make the most of sunny day yesterday ... lots of visits to keep us all entertained during cold/wet/snowy weather!

This last one has a lovely fly-off towards cam
Awful cold/grey/wet day here today & never saw Mr K! We are due for snow overnight, wonder if he will visit tomorrow?
I imagine in the first he's saying "well, looks like a lovely morning" and then, in the second, "blast, those d*@n paparazzi are back again! I really must get some curtains." Hope the snow doesn't put him off - it snowed pretty much all day here, but not to any great effect so I hope you don't get any worse.

Lovely pics Wendy, I have watched two of your videos so far, love the close view of Mr K as he departs, will keep the other videos for Thursday when it appears we will be getting the snow.
Lot to learn
Bit of birdsong at start, couldn't speed up main section but ends with Mr K's usual flourish direct to cam for our delight!! Lol
Great video Wendy, Mr K looks great against the white cliff. I have just been watching the other videos and the one at the nest hole is so relaxing, he looks as if he owns the site now, just hope he can convince a female that it is a good place too:-)

Thanks Gaynor, I love seeing him in the nest hole, all his different body & eye movements, so expressive!
Really didn't expect to see Mr K on this very mizzly & gloomy day but there he was, nestled into his special crevice on the cliff which looks to afford him some shelter as he watches keenly what's going on ... he had already been there for half an hour before this vid footage
couple of bigger pics 'cos he's so gorgeous

Why of course! What a difference the light and sun makes to his colours, well it does not mattter how he shows, he is gorgeous anyway!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Much nicer yesterday for Mr K although still perishing windy! Cam played up so reset to factory settings which made for some interesting res on sunny day pics ...
& that was after editing as much as I could!! Back to the manual! Lol
Some vids too ...
See that temps down my way are set to improve quite drastically & Feb is the month when a female might arrive ... needless to say am forever peeking out windows & doors checking!!
Mr K looks as good as ever...
… so not sure what has happened to cause the background to burn out. Looks a bit like an auto-contrast (or auto-levels problem), which software is normally quite good at (both in-camera and external) but does sometimes cause burn-out like this if it tries to force lighter colours to become white when it maximises the tonal range. Of course, it might be something else entirely
I worry that if a female does turn up your head will explode!
