Lot to learn
I can't think Gaynor but still they don't come!!
Yesterday was windy but warm sun, Mr K came twice but still sheltered in his nest hole, has taken quite a liking to it ... such a sweetie!
Funny ending to this one
After a very wild night here the wind continued to howl but at least was dry & sunny although not too warm but Mr K had found himself a spot on cliff ledge to the left & slightly below nest hole which appeared completely sheltered ...
First of three quite long vids for the record, this first one shows him trying to cough up a pellet & I was cross to have cam battery die before I could record outcome ...
Returns to same sheltered spot later, not coughing anymore
Mr K manages to lose his head at end of this one! Lol
Last visit of today @ 16.55
He performed for us again ... in slo-mo! Lol
Been so lucky again to have opportunity to study & record this wonderful bird, hope I haven't bored you too much!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Gale force winds again this morning but bright & sunny & dry ... didn't deter Mr K from arriving early to cliff ledge ...
For his second visit Mr K chose to perch on a new branch to left of nest hole ...
The third time he brought prey to nest hole but didn't finish it ... watched him as he flew to scrub to stash it & then to cliff ledge for wash & brush up but didn't get his flyaway!
A little more to keep you occupied whilst the next two days gales & rain blow through ............roll on dry sunny Spring weather ........... nearly time to alter clocks! Lol
