THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

Lot to learn
The other day we had another female mallard fly in which was constantly chased off by our semi resident drake; the female intruder was so determined she came back half a dozen times and eventually got her share of the mixed bird seed as our semi resident female mallard who had been dozing in one of the pond baskets came to investigate !
here are quick pics taken through the window of the interloper female mallard who must have been so hungry she didn't give up after being harrassed by our garden residents ............
after the drake chased her off several times, she returned to find the Jackdaw was on her case lol
then it was the squirrel .............
then it was the magpie ............
then it was our resident female mally (on the left) ...........
It was nice to see her stand her ground as she topped up on bird seed before flying off again .
A few more photos from the garden this lunchtime.........
One of three very busy nest boxes ................. first time the GT's have used the boxes.
Morning walk down Moss valley rained off this morning with very little to show except for old (or young) dependable...
Day off today so a quick hour round Radipole in Weymouth,
semi resident great white egret
shiny Pochard
Marsh Harrier
Whinchat, I think
@Paul, wonderful set of photos, That Yellow Wagtail is absolutely stunning. Love the Buzzard projectile pooing. @Hazel, Your garden birds are giving you some great shots. @Bob, good to see you Little Owl is still being obliging. @PimperneBloke, nice set and good to see a Whinchat. Your Egret is of the "Little" variety. A GWE would have a yellow bill.
