THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

I actually feel a bit better after bottling it all up for 25 years. I think I may be able to put it behind me now......given a bit more time.!! :-)
My bird photos HERE
A few from yesterday on Big Moor and on the Derwent.
I'm not so sure Wilma is around anymore as she would be 5 or 6 years old this year but we do have a newcomer in town who's taken over the waterfall/pond area; for all I know it could be one of her offspring which followed her in one year ........but we'll never know ! We have seen one of last year's brood this year plus this male.
(record shots taken through the window) he's fairly tolerant of us outside and doesn't fly too far away. Male wagtails have the black bib.
he seems pretty at home in the garden
got to keep those long tail feathers and plumage in smart condition if he is to attract a lady ..... the yellow is getting brighter each day !
he was calling to another wagtail that flew over .............
and another call ............... I think it was more territorial sound and behaviour than welcoming the other wagtail in !
spreading one wing and tail feathers ..........
