THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

A few from today, another trip to see the deer but also dropped down into the valley and Derwent. Great to see the highland cattle back on Baslow Edge too.

As ever, lovely photos Bob.
I was going to ask if the highland cattle were on the Barbrook side, which is where I used to see them when I walked around there, but the first pic looks like the southern edge of the moor?

Hazel, it's a lovely moor, and if you don't mind heights, from its southern edges, there's some fabulous views.
As with a lot of Peak District moors, there are a number of small stone circles, and a long since disused reservoir, that kept silting up, so it was drained and then the dam was breached to stop it filling up.
