THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

Yes, that's what I'm doing now Nige, but can't wait for the day when they alter the default to latest post first and do away with indented replies ! Looks so messy everywhere.
Oddly enough, your personal notifications do take you right to the end without a problem, so clearly it can be done!!!

This was a complete surprise. Stomping about the proto-reserve this morning, this Red Kite came close but not close enough to get a really crystal clear, super detailed image.
Anyway, I hauled off a few shots, with my super-duper fast SD Card (I love it!),and thought nothing of it. Got home, down loaded the images to my laptop, opened them up in FastStone and got the surprise of my life. They weren't bad, even at 300mm - which is where the Tamron gets really soft.
A bit fuzzy, but a complete surprise considering how far away the beastie was.
90% luck, 5% field craft, 5% camera skills.
They are super Angus as is your achievement in posting them large for us to enjoy!
