I hope you’re OK after the fall, Hazel.
Mrs A fell in the garden last week and cut her head, nose, cheek & lip. Her eye was swollen up and blackened. She’s on the mend now as the verbal and psychological abuse towards me is returning.!! :-)
I’ve been taking a bit of stick from friends about beating her up, but in reality if I had tried that I suspect I’d have been in a far worse state than she was.!! :-)

I'm really sorry to hear about Mrs A, Paul, I think I got off very lightly. I wouldn't mind but after doing it 3 times in a couple of years, it must be about 5 years since the last fall. It's takes longer to get up each time! LOL
Ron was very good & dabbed a nice bit of iodine over it when we got home! Well you never know what you are going to get!
Best wishes

I know.!! I went over on my ankle last year and took the knee out of a perfectly serviceable pair of trousers (along with a 50p sized flap of skin off my kneecap). Very nippy and bruised.!! :-(
Ouch, hope you are all recovering from your tumbles, it's so easily done; I had never broken a bone until I got to 57 and went chasing the Olympic torch for some photo ops lol
Green-veined white ? from this afternoon; tons of damsels and butterflies but couldn't catch up with the Holly Blue !

I'm not so good on butterflies but saw this one today at Baggies Point N Devon, the ringspots in daylight on its wings were definitely yellow but in this pic show as white. Anyone any idea on what it is?
Could it be a Speckled Wood?

Looks good to me Tony, not the same colour as our one's in France but good for UK.

A walk along the coat path around Foreland Point, Lynmouth on Saturday. Finally managed to spot a couple of these.(Green Hairstreak) Luckily they were hungry enough to get these pics on my phone
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

Ooh, what lovely photos, Sarah. The perfect weather for spotting butterflies.
Funnily enough I went to a location today where Green Hairstreak are supposed to occur. Didn't see any unfortunately. I'll post what I did see later.
