Hi folks
I've been out all day today in the Lake District. I'm a volunteer for the Duke of Edinburgh award and we were out with 2 Silver groups. Anyway, while waiting for them to appear at Kentmere I heard my first cuckoo!! I also got my first close glimpse of a lark and have taken one of my famous rubbish photos of it. I'm really tired now having walked about 10 miles and not got home til 10pm, so I'm going to bed now and will catch up with the forums tomorrow. Will have to watch Springwatch on BBCi too. Looking forward to contributing to what looks like a lively thread!
