Whilst enjoying a cold but successful Sunday morning treking around Titchwell on the 9th May I discovered a dead Duckling on the main path down to the beach, it appeared to have been killed by a Gull or similar. Suddenly a Mole emerged from the plants at the edge of the path and proceeded to feast on the carcass of the Duckling. I mananged to photograph this several times. I've never seen a Mole doing this before, it was quite vigorous in its efforts to secure a meal, even raising itself completely off the ground!! Has this been observed before. I shall attempt to put the photos in the Gallery.
