Hi Al,
We saw quite a few Moorhen chicks,so cute!
Hi Littleowl,
What a great day you had, and super photos. I love the coloured duck - he looks like he is in fancy dress! And the moorhen chick is gorgeous, so cute. Thanks for sharing your day out.
I think your swallows are swallows, if you see what I mean. We saw loads in Anglesey and they always seem to perch on wires.
Cheers, Linda.

Lovely pics. There's nothing like a birdwatch walk to refresh the spirits, especially if you see cuties like these.
Thankyou all for the kind comments on my pics and day out walking. It Is nice to get out and about when the weather Is so good, because as we all know It can soon change.
Hi littleOwl

Hi littleowl
What lovely photos. I particularly love the wood duck and the swallows. It's uncommon to see swallows sitting still!
I know what you mean about having a lovely walk in the sunshine. I hear lots of birds, but don't often see them in a position where I can take a photo of them. You have to be in the right place at the right time.
Best wishes Chris
