Had a weeks holiday in Seahouses, stayed in the same cottage as we have done for some years now.I could only visit the Farne Islands once and chose the Inner Farne seeing you can get some good photographic opportunities and I was not disappointed, there are two pictures I took that I like very much and one bird we can find on our local canal or lake the Mallard!! for these I got down on my belly for the shots and I think they turned out quit nicely.

Thanks Bob, very helpful. Friends are a great help on here, and a place I learn from too.
Take care all, Stich.

Your welcome, Stich, I have never been to Langstone Harbour but it does look a nice place with lots of other places close by.
Anyone know what this is, I took it last year on the dunes and I can’t find a picture that looks similar!
Got it, its just come to me its a Reed Bunting is it not?
What stunning photos! I'm envious, I've always wanted to go to the Farne Islands! I'd so love to see Puffins in the wild. I'd love to see Gannets close up too.
Gannets? Hmm, Troops Head is fantastic for Gannets, though it's a bit out of the way, up above Aberdeen
