Sorry for the delay in updating things for you. It's just that time of year...
It's been a long day and the eyelids are drooping so just for now, here's today's busy headlines. One day on Mull in 10 bullet points.
TGIF.
ps if Debby's still awake and wants to add some great pics from the Eagle Hide trip today or anything else, I think this blog could do with some illustrations! Debby?
Goodnight.
Dave Sexton, RSPB Scotland Mull Officer
Hi Dave and Debby think you must have lots of days like this at this time of year.I find Kellan as the worry after all he has been through and even though he seems to be doing well seems almost impossible he can be 100% after all that, fingers crossed for positive results on everything for you.
Heatherp----feel you will be lucky and see Skye and Frisa this time, good luck.
So is that 2 new pairs on top of last year's new pair?
I was just thinking of the Eagles this morning whilst watching our Garden birds busy building nests, I am hoping for a very succesful year and wish all the Eagles the best of luck with their nest building.
Please let us know when you see Skye and Frisa, maybe they think I am there, as they hide everytime I make a trip to the hide.
Less than 12 weeks till I come up , can't wait...
Heatherp
Thanks Dave, a story full of ups and downs again just to keep us on the edge of our computer chairs.
Fantastic that you have seen Breagha, sounds like she can stand her ground.
Thank goodness a signal from Kellan.
Good old YBS!!
Not so good news regarding your newly established pairs, lets hope they rebuild the nest.
And gosh ....where are Skye & Frisa, fingers crossed they are just hiding!!
8 weeks and counting to our reunion with Mull.....can’t wait!
Oh dear - same happened to me too! fell asleep in the chair last night - must be all that fresh air - will post some photos - great trip at Frisa - the golden eagles stole the show - stooping, and generally showing off to our visitors - added to that both male and female hen harrier out hunting and a new one for next to the hide a pair of bullfinches ! all that plus sunshine and hailstones! 4 seasons in 5 minutes on Mull at the moment!
