Winter couldn't quite let go and the hills around the reserve were all covered in snow this morning.
The cold temperatures didn't put off some of the spring arrivals and thel ist is increasing everyday. Latest sightings for the reserve include swallow, house martin, willow warbler,black cap,little ringed plover, osprey, green sandpiper and of course wonderful views of lapwing, redshank and teal all displaying.
