No photo im afraid, but sighting of the day was a young pike lying motionless but in full view, close to the pond dipping platform. I was down there for a bit of pond dipping with a visiting family, and noticed it close to the reeds surrounding the pond, only about 3' from the platform.
It was only about 6" long and I only saw it because its green scales stood out against the mud below. I used a net handle to point it out to the kids, and the second the handle touched the water it was gone leaving just a cloud of disturbed mud. What a little cracker,
