Just saw this story on the BBC website:

You guys OK? Any lasting damage?
Gosh, just seen this link - ditto Dom's comments.
Looks like the revamped visitor centre is a foot or two under water. :-\
Looks really bad. Hope it is just a case of drying out and not too much damage.
Jo T Always on the side of the feathered guy!
Afraid its pretty bad. Michelle and I waded across the carpark this morning and once inside the VC were confronted by water at least a metre deep. The freezer was on its side and floating about, tables and chairs everywhere, the electrics have been swamped and its gonna be a pretty massive clean up job. Gonna take a day or two for the water to subside, will post more info as it happens. As I say its bad but the Discovery Centre will rise again.
2nd Marsh harrier fledgling off Lodmoor in the nick of time. Bad, but as Danny days we'll rise again!
Thinking of you all, incredible scenes.
A pretty poignant scene of the VC across the car park. It might be lovely weather for ducks but nearly everything else has been hit hard by the deluge, glad it looks like the Harrier young have managed to escape it.
Seize the day!
"The RSPB said damage to its refurbished Discovery Centre would cost £100,000."

Rebuild it on stilts maybe?
