As I come from Mid Wales I was delighted to be reunited with a common site for me,driving back from a long day in Bridport I was greeted by a Red Kite flying over the fields by Monkey Jump , never seen one down here before, it was a pleasent suprise. I wonder is there a couple here or is this a one off.
Hi PJ. This is prime time for migrant red kites in this neck of the woods but they are definately increasing and becoming nationalised Dorset residents. Most welcome they are too!
