Aha - Rattus norvegicus! Depending how you feel about this chap, if you don't want him helping himself to the food then I would perhaps recommend putting something like vaseline on that feeder pole and it will make it tricky for him to grip the pole. I have to admit he is quiet a handsome chap.

I've put an anti-rat guard on the pole to see if it makes a difference to the rate at which the birdfood goes down! He is indeed an intrepid rodent but I'm sure he won't go hungry :)
