A question for the knowledgeable
The Hoodie down at Radipole has been there for years now but why stay when it hasn't got a mate ?
Has it resigned itself to be the Cliff Richard of the waterways ?
Has there been a 2nd Hoodie before with it ?

To my knowledge it has never had a mate here....perhaps luke or Nick could confirm that...?
The poor blokes probably so far from where he is supposed to be, I suspect he either doesn't realise he is in the wrong place anymore or he would never survive the long flight home. Either that or he is still hedging his bets on wooing one of the female tufted ducks....
Robs pretty much right, though there's a good chance that its an escapee from captivity which would mean that he has no intention to go all the way back to the USA. As Tufted Duck is his nearest reletive on the lake he just hangs around with them.
