I need your thoughts on something. Some of you guys might be familar with Birdguides photo of the week slot. Nick and myself were wondering whether we could do something similar at the Weymouth Wetlands. With such quality pictures now being posted in the Gallery it seems like a good idea. We wouldn't be able to do it weekly but how does a photo of the month sound?
If you guys think it sounds good then we'll start in september and the winning picture will be posted on our blog to show off your work to the masses.

Good good. I think we go for it then. It will only be a bit of fun so nothing official but as it said we will post the pic on the blog to show of the picture. So well start in September which should be good for migrant birds passing through the reserve and who knows what rarities might turn up this autumn!
Some of the pics in the Gallery are brilliant and would grace any front cover bird mag so keep em coming. On a similar theme, it's been a week since the last blog! Why not try to cut it down to a couple of days between blogs!?

We do try Frank! Last week unfortunately we couldn't open the page to compose a blog so we were digitally hamstrung on the blog front. Normal service has (at least for now) resumed!
Good idea Luke I'm all for it. I think all entries should be taken in the current month and all taken either Lodmoor or Radipole or perhaps we could include all of Weymouth and Portland.
