Hi,
as teenagers on long coach trips to RSPB reserves we used to do 'latin name' quizzes.
We used to bone up on obscure ones from Peterson, because Hawfinch and Wren etc were known by everyone but Barrow's Goldeneye and Gull-billed Tern were handy to know :)
