I am not sure if you have seen my post on the other forum but this is the reasoning behind the brief closure.

Chris Packham was involved with the small celebration event we had in the morning and had kindly offered his time to lead two guided walks for people who wanted to meet him. As you can imagine, these were very popular and booked up very quickly. We decided that we would close off a section of the hide for a short period to allow the walk participants to talk to Chris.

The southern section of the hides has been designed with the central door to allow greater flexibility with the use of the space. Most of the time the hide will be open as one but if we have a school party or optics demonstration, will are able to put that in one section and leave part of the hide for people who don't want to be disturbed.
