Barn Owl Hunting

The icing on the cake, after visiting the Fen hide and getting great views of a pair of Red crested Pochard we decided to just check out the Patsy's reedbed and were treated to a display of the Barn Owl out hovering, dropping down and disappearing into the grass in the middle of the afternoon

After a career in education, I'm now retired and finally found time to pursue an interest in birds and photography as well as putting together a website C & A's Wild Images. Living in Norfolk, provides an ideal location to see wildlife particularly birds.

Fantastic! What a stunning bird, and beautifully snapped.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
