I‘ve been watching the Bird Feeder webcam at The Lodge and there are 3 children carrying on trying to bang the camera with wood and also trying to bring birdfeeders crashing down onto the ground. It is quite disturbing.

The camera is back in action. Thanks for the report, but please appreciate we only have a very small team on site, and it was a very busy Bank Holiday weekend.

Just noticed a few seconds ago another small child playing on with the bird-feeders. Luckily I just saw at least one of the parents take the child in hand. It always happens during the school holidays.
There where another two young children playing about with the BirdFeeders and trying to move the camera webcam again this afternoon. It always happens when the schools are off or at weekends and there doesn’t appear to be any parents to control the young children. It makes me wonder why the RSPB have the camera so low to the ground at The Lodge reserve.
