South Stack Visitor Centre.
Hi everyone, my name is Mel. I am a volunteer with the RSPB at the South Stack reserve. My wife and I began our voluntary work in April last and have really enjoyed our time there. I would like to share some of our experiences with you.
The South Stack reserve is stunning! If you have visited us you will know what I mean, if you haven’t, treat yourself. We are a very friendly group and would love to see you here.
Our Café is very popular as you can see and our kitchen wizards are always ready to please.
The well stocked shop is all ready for Christmas.
The rarest sighting that we have seen over the last month has been a pair of ‘Love Birds’; they just walked into the café one afternoon and announced that they had just become engaged whist enjoying our wonderful scenery.
It is now close to Christmas and South Stack is planning to hold several events.
3rd & 4th December – Philip Snow Exhibition 11am – 4pm
10th December - Christmas Family Fun 11am – 4pm
17th December – Homes For Wildlife Day 11am – 4pm
20th December – Winter Wonders Guided Walk 2.30pm – 3.30pm
[For information and booking please ask at the Visitor Centre or phone the reserve office on 01407 762100]
Come back soon for more local information.
Best regards Mel
