Sunday 11 March: Single Bearded Tit at each end of marsh, pair of Pintail, 27 Wigeon (included a pair on lagoon), 5 Gadwall, 6 Avocet, 3 Green Sandpiper on small lagoon, c.15 Black-tailed Godwit, Cetti's Warbler heard, 1 Little Egret, 10 Fieldfare just outside west end of reserve, 1 Green Woodpecker, pair of Oystercatcher.
Sunday 18 March: Chiffchaff heard, 1+ Bearded Tit on west side, 30 Avocet, pair of Pintail, 150+ Wigeon included a pair, 50+ Shoveler, Cetti's Warbler heard, 40+ Black-tailed Godwit.
Friday 23 March: 1 Marsh Harrier, 8 Avocet, 4 Ruff, 13 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Curlew, 1 Greenshank, 1 Little Gull (in amongst the black headed gulls. On the water all morning.), 2 Cetti's Warbler
Tuesday 03 April: 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 1 Greenshank, 5 Ruff, Bearded Tit heard, 6 Avocet and up to 5 Cetti's warblers calling.
Wednesday 04 April: 1 Little Egret, 2 Avocet, 6 Ruff, 3 Greenshank, 3 Cetti's Warbler, 3 Bearded Tit in eastern reedbed.

This is proving to be a very good little reserve always something to see when i can get there with my walking problem but always worth the trouble.

The water levels are looking very good currently and attracting a good selection of wading birds. I'm pleased you find it worthwhile visiting the reserve and thanks for your comments.
