From the marina, in the creek this morning was a sinle bar-tailed godwit along with a dozen black-tailed godwits. A spotted redshank, a ruff and two avocets. The wintering chiffchaff was seen in the hedgerow to your right as you enter the park.
Saturday 10 March: 1 Water Rail in front of hide but chased off by a Moorhen, drake Pintail, -100 Wigeon on Vange Wick, 25+ Teal, 5 Avocet, 15+ Black-tailed Godwit on creek (included a colour ringed Iceland bird), Cetti's Warbler heard, 1 Snipe close to hide, 17 Pochard, pair of Oystercatcher on creek.
Tuesday 20 March: 2 Marsh Harrier (male and female), 3 Buzzard (over), 2 Mediterranean Gull (on scrape) and a chiffchaff singing in our wildlife garden.

Sunday 25 March: Chiffchaff heard by car park, male and female Marsh Harrier (male later flew south over scrape), 1 Bearded Tit briefly seen and heard, 10 Avocet, Cetti's Warbler glimpsed and heard, 20+ Wigeon on marshes, single pairs each of Teal on scrape and fleet, 20+ Shoveler, pair of Oystercatcher, pair of Lapwing displaying over marshes.

Wednesday 11 April: 43 Avocet (on scrape), 1 Reed Warbler singing at south end of fleet, 8 Blackcap (singing), 4 Chiffchaff (singing), 1 Willow Warbler singing by playground.
