Warden week is coming up from the 24th to the 28th of October so make sure that you have booked a place on one of the best hands on experiences South Essex marshes has to offer. Meet our expert ecologists and help to protect local wildlife by managing habitats, performing surveys and getting stuck in. The event is open to 16 to 19 year old wildlife enthusiasts who are interested in conserving nature and would love to experience warden work. Halloween is only 15 days away so make sure that you have booked your place on our nocturnal nature expedition which is running on Friday the 28th of October from 6pm. We will be creeping around Wat Tyler Park in search of night prowlers. Remember to snuggle up in warm clothing and bring a torch and wear comfortable footwear. There will be a prize for the best fancy dress and hot chocolate will be served to those who make it to the end of the night. Remember discovering the secret world of nocturnal animals is only for super brave adventurers!
