A pleasant 3½ hour walk around a quiet snow laden Priory Woods. I have never seen so many Robins in one area before:
Whilst I was too close to photograph a Treecreeper that was 4' away (lens's minimum focus distance is 6') I was really pleased to capture a Wren:

Indeed it is - last weekend I had the 24-105 on the camera and I saw the Treecreeper on a distant tree (the 100-400 was in my backpack).
Still, there's allways next weekend, right ?
