A European white-fronted goose, our second of the year, was on the wet grassland for it's second day. A bit more colourful but less obvious were the pair of garganey that were on the edge of one of the pools in front of Paddy's Hide, where a dark-bellied brent goose was also feeding. A single Arctic tern flew over Saltholme Pools Hide where there were 4 pink-footed geese, hooded merganser and little ringed plover. Ringed plover and 3 turnstone were also seen.
