It was a lovely day on Tuesday, when will we see another one?
I was lucky to get these photos of a Heron from the Moorhen Hide:
There were some great insects, although I only saw one butterfly. This is a Black-headed Cardinal Beetle:and a Thick-Kneed Flower beetle, very common on white and yellow flowers:

Nice shots. Rye Meads is a lovely place. The damsel labelled female Blue-tailed on your link is actually female Common Blue (drab form).
