29th!

A lovely, bright sunny day!

A few lonesome Little Grebes.
Cormorants, adult and juveniles.
Grey Heron chased by Black-Headed Gulls.
Canada Geese goslings nearly fully grown.
Lots of Mallards; Tufties. Some Pochard; Gadwall. Coot City in places.
Shovelers in eclipse plumage.
A pair of Teal seen from the Draper Hide, as was a Green Sandpiper and a Lapwing.
6-7 pairs of Common Tern and chicks, together with BHGs and young.
Kingfishers on display at both the KF and Gadwall Hides.
Also seen from the KF Hide were a pair of GSWs.
Plenty of Warblers, notably Chiffchaff, Reed and Sedgies. Cetti's heard, but not seen.
Tits galore, Greats; Blueys and Long-tails.

Also seen: a pair of Water Voles; Common Darter; Common Blue and Blue-tailed, Large White; Red Admiral; Comma and Skippers.
Plus the Water Buffalo and Konik Ponies.
Numerous insects about.....

Lots of people too, all very friendly.

Broke for drinks, no carrot cake (sigh).

Connecting train was predictably late, in my favour this time!

Another wonderful day at RM!
